FROM SELF-CRITICISM TO SELF-COMPASSION

A 5-Week Group Programme for High-Achieving Professionals

You're capable. Accomplished. Working harder than most.

But the cost of maintaining those standards is showing up.

Often quietly. Often invisibly. Often while still performing well.

Maybe as exhaustion that rest doesn't fix. Maybe as procrastination disguised as planning. Maybe as work that never feels finished. Maybe as difficulty trusting others to do things properly. Maybe as saying yes when you mean no.

However your pattern shows up - the underlying mechanism is the same:

A nervous system that learned to stay safe through self-criticism and over-control.

And that pattern can be interrupted. In real time. In 5 weeks.

AT A GLANCE

  • 5-week live group programme (online)

  • One 90-minute session per week

  • Small cohort of 6–8 participants

  • Practical, body‑aware and cognitive approach

  • Real-time practice: correcting action within action

  • Session recordings available

WHEN A STRATEGY OUTLIVES ITS USEFULNESS

What often gets called perfectionism is not a personality flaw.
It is a learned way of staying safe in demanding environments.

For many capable people, it becomes an operating strategy:

  • staying one step ahead to reduce exposure to criticism

  • keeping pressure internal so things don’t fall apart externally

  • maintaining high standards through constant self-monitoring

  • delaying action until conditions feel safe (what looks like procrastination)

Over time, the strategy keeps running even when the conditions that created it have changed.

Not because something is wrong. But because the system was never taught a different way to operate.

WHY THIS PATTERN PERSISTS

Perfectionism is not about excellence.

It is about self-protection learned early and reinforced over time.

At some point, your nervous system learned:

“If I control more, prepare more, and stay one step ahead of potential criticism, I will be safer.”

That strategy once helped. Now it may quietly cost you more than you realise.

Difficulty finishing. Praise that doesn’t land. Guilt when resting. Anxiety around visibility. Success that never quite satisfies.

This pattern does not respond to insight alone. Because it does not live only in logic.

It lives in the body.

WHAT BECOMES POSSIBLE WHEN YOU INTERRUPT IT IN REAL TIME

When the pattern is interrupted as it happens, something shifts.

Work can be released at 80% without spiralling into anxiety or self-doubt. Rest becomes restorative rather than justified. Visibility no longer requires armour. Decisions feel clearer, not heavier.

The goal is not to remove ambition. It is to remove the inner war.

THE 5-WEEK PROCESS

This is a live, focused journey, not a content course. Each week builds on the previous one, moving from awareness to embodied change.

Week 1 - Pattern Recognition

Discover which perfectionism pattern is running your life and understand its nature - a hardwired stress response, not a character flaw. Recognition itself begins the shift: you stop fighting what you can finally see. starts.

Week 2 — Nervous System Foundation

Learn how your body creates and maintains the perfectionism cycle. Using breath work, grounding, and somatic techniques, you'll build a stable nervous system foundation - the bedrock of sustainable change.

Week 3 — Confidence Without Criticism

Learn to interrupt the pattern as it happens - stopping the urge to revise 'one more time', catching yourself before you say yes when you mean no, releasing work without the 3am anxiety spiral.

Week 4 — Sustainable Performance

Build trust in yourself without needing proof of perfection first. Rest becomes restorative, not something you 'earn'. Decisions become clearer because you're not second-guessing every choice.

Week 5 — Integration

Make these shifts your default way of working - this becomes how you work, not something extra you 'do'. You'll leave able to spot the pattern returning, interrupt it before it takes hold, and trust yourself to perform without the inner war.

"I realized that taking my time doesn't actually take more time."

— Marie, Senior Executive

WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT

Small groups designed to work

6-8 people means you get attention, feedback, and space to process. No hiding in a crowd, no getting lost in chat.

Proven methodology, not theory
The Inkei Method™ has been used by over 5,000 professionals to interrupt stress patterns. These aren't untested concepts - they're body-based techniques with a track record.

Tools you'll actually use
Two foundational, guided audio protocols form the core daily practice, supported by a small library of short resets for moments when pressure spikes or self-criticism takes over.

Everything stays with you
Lifetime access to recordings, materials, and frameworks. The learning doesn't expire when the programme ends.

Support when you need it
Private group for questions between sessions. Because real change happens in the messy middle, not just on the calls.

A framework that travels
These tools work in meetings, at your desk, during decisions - anywhere the pattern shows up. This becomes how you operate, not something you "do."

WHO THIS IS FOR

This programme is designed for:

High-performing professionals who recognise perfectionist patterns and are ready to work with them differently.

You over-prepare and still feel blocked, or delay action because it cannot be perfect. You know you are not operating at your full capacity. The constant sense of never quite being good enough is exhausting.

This programme may not be the right fit if:

You are looking for quick fixes or productivity hacks. You need traditional therapy or clinical treatment. You are not willing to practise between sessions.

This programme is not therapy and is not designed for crisis support.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What if I miss a session?

All sessions are recorded and shared. You can catch up in your own time. Live participation is encouraged but not required.

Is this therapy?

No. This is skills based nervous system work, not clinical treatment. It is not designed for crisis support.

What's the time commitment between sessions?

Most people spend 10 to 20 minutes a day on guided practices. In total, less than an hour a week outside the live sessions.

What if my perfectionism feels overwhelming?

If you are dealing with acute distress, one to one support may be more appropriate. A short clarity call can help you decide.

Can this be expensed through my company?

Many participants use professional development or wellbeing budgets. An invoice can be provided.

What if I'm in a very different time zone?

The two groups are designed to cover most regions. If neither works for you, one to one support offers more flexibility.

CHOOSE YOUR JANUARY GROUP

PREFER ONE TO ONE SUPPORT?

Some people know they work better with individual attention, or want a more personalised space.

If that feels more appropriate for you, one to one support may be a better fit. A short clarity call can help you decide which option makes the most sense.
